ZULK was established in 2003. Its main objectives are initiating the gathering of creative people in culture (amateurs and professionals), supporting authors in their creative projects, and offering assistance regarding their professional status.
We are a non-profit NGO, active in organization, production and civil initiative in all fields of culture.
Our activities are divided into several sections (music, dance, fine arts, literature, performing arts, civil section) but many of projects are cross- or multi-sectional. In most of these fields we organize informal education (for children, youngsters and adults). Members of ZULK are people of all ages and professions. We co-operate with many artists and professionals from various fields (musicians, sculptors, painters, dancers, music producers and book editors, culturologists, ethnologists, etc.).
Our projects are mostly financed by applying to national and local calls for proposals. Minor portion of our financial sources comes from sponsors and through donations.
At present three people are employed through European Social Fund Programme.
